Personally, i would love a comlete system menu overhaul. kinda like xbmc. how bout you?
its funny i was thinking a xbmc for the wii would be cool the other day lol
maybe thats what the homebrew channel will become in the future.......
i should have said evox.. that was awsome!!!!! just amagin turning on your wii and its a completly diferent experience with new feature nintedo could only dream about haha oh thats awsome
Someone is working on a custom firmware right now I don't know when he will finish but he said you'll be able to customize the menu.
a backuploader that can play 100% of all games
Cokecola3, it's called MODCHIP...
I think its not a matter of who, but how many who are and how many need to be.
I'd love to play Oregon Trail. Another thing I want and are more likely to see in the future is to play PS1 and GC games.
Actually porting an Apple IIe emulator would make that possible. PS1 games should be coming with WiiSX, and GC games work on the wii natively.
one backuploader can read iso from usb driver with usb2.0 speed
Ya I think that's the guy he was working on making 1:1 games to boot through disc channel .
Yep, thats the one. I look forward to that release. Won't be for a while though.
A wii MMORPG would be nice. However unrealistic, it would be nice to have linux with KDE on the wii. And the whole custom wii menu thing would be REALLY nice.
Good Game Good Game.
you know Nintendo Systems seem to always be the best for homebrew right now.
ehhhh 2nd is the PSP...
A way to navigate the system menu with a Cube controller. I'm tired of having to dig out my wiimote every time I want to play Brawl.
A web broswer with updated/updateable adobe flash and tabs.
technically speakin is the Wii powerful to push a full *nix distro ??
am talkin compiz and the works...now that would be something a Compiz-fuzion OS in a sexy white box under my TV.. i imagine it would and since the Wii is Ati based surely its possible to right the drivers once the OS was up and running.
can anyone shed any light on this jus asa a POC and to feed my own pot head thurst for knowledge lol
