Hi,

I have an Old 3DS with A9LH (V1) installed back in March 2016 and Luma 3DS as CFW. Luma 3DS is up to date, according to Star Updater.
I'm on 11.3;
I don't remember when was the last time I started the Homebrew Launcher, but for sure i didn't have any problems before.

So, here is the problem : when i launch it, i got immediatly this error "something failed" with the error code "00001000-01fcf000-d8e17406".

I tried to "renew" the 3ds folders by downloading a new "starter pack" on the blue smealum's website, but the problem is still there.
I made few searchs, but i'm confused : I see people with this problem on 11.3 like me, but they're using soundhax, not on CFW, and seems to be related to that. I think, since I have A9LH, I should be fine and don't need soundhax ? And they have the problem at the installation, and that's not my case, the hax (A9LH) is here and kind of working (except Homebrew Launcher right now). I see some people saying "lol i just restarted and now it works" but that's not happening to me... :glare: Or problems in older firmwares or 1 year-old threads so I don't know, to be honest i'm lost, I tried to search and maybe failed this time. I don't know what's wrong, Luma 3DS is up to date, works with 11.3, A9LH is the recommended thing etc... So I don't (or can't) see the problem, why my Homebrew Launcher says "No you're not gonna enjoy Homebrews !"

That's why i'm now asking for your help, or at least maybe just a clue ? I tried to go into details, hope it'll be useful.

Thank you !

Update the Homebrew Launcher to it's most recent version (1.3) with FBI, then update your Luma with the lastest hourly build (not the stable) and that must fix your problem.

Thank you;
I updated the Homebrew Launcher to 1.3 with the .cia found on yellows8's github. Then I updated Luma to hourly.

Now I passed the "something failed" error, I can see messages like "ropbin is ready" but, after the red bottom screen, I got an infinite black screen... I don't think it's normal ^^

As the other guy said, it is better if you use the default updater (the one with Luma in the icon).

Hello, I'm experiencing the exact same issue:
"something failed
00000000
01fa1000
fffeefff"

The homebrew launcher CIA does work with wifi ON, however it displays the error message when it's offline.
I also tried to start the hb channel with X pressed but it did not work.
I've already tried to delete the hblauncher directory on the sdcard root and I've also tried to manually copy and renamed the latest ropbin on smealum's website, it did not work.
It's just like if the homebrew launcher could only exploit the payload just after it downloaded t on the SD card but not after a reboot.

Config:
O3DS 11-3-0-36-EUR
Latest Luma3DS (hourly)
Latest FBI
Latest Homebrew Launcher 1.3 CIA
