So I recently used letterbomb on a post-2008 wii and installed bootmii as IOS. I've had some issues with homebrew. Many exit to a frozen black screen and require a restart of the whole wii to unfreeze. Currently, I have no access to an sd card, but that does not seem like the problem. VBA-GX freezes when exiting and some games freeze when booting, Devolution freezes after an ISO is selected (the drive slot is not blinking blue, launched from the original gc_devo launcher), and retroarch 1.0.0.1 freezes when exiting and does not recognize files on a usb device. No modified IOS' are installed other than bootmii, its essentially a virgin wii with the homebrew channel. Retail games like smash bros brawl work fine.

Well, managed to fix it myself (seems to be a given that I fix it myself soon after I post a thread). Turns out this particular flash drive was the root of all evil. Derp.
