cMIOS needed for GC homebrew? Is there a specific one necessary, or will any do?

Slightly off topic but: Can HW_AHBPROT be used to patch MIOS in memory and negate the need for cMIOS for loading GC homebrew etc.?

Well you cant launch GC homebrew without a patched mios. I use cmios v4 from WiiPowers Installer and it works. Maybe WiiPower can add AHBPROT support to his Installer?

I meant using AHBPROT to temporarily patch MIOS, so that the installer would be unnecessary. (similar to the way stuff like FTPii uses on-the-fly IOS patches to get NAND access etc. instead of needing an actual patched IOS).
