Hacking Homebrew DLDI Questions (DSOrganize,moonshl, etc)

since i heard that the card has auto DLDI patching for homebrew does that mean that i can just drag and drop the .nds rom file of the homebrew into my homebrew folder i made onto my sd card and load my dstt w/o any problems or extra hardware, files etc.

P.S. just wondering b//c im new to the DLDI thing and its confusing for homebrew and what not.
