The .NDS file can go anywhere, and all the other folders go in a "LemmingsDS" folder which should be in the root. If you want to change the location of the LemmingsDS folder, you can specify a new one in the config file.edit: oh and one more question: in Lemmings there are all these folders other than the .nds file: graphics, levels, music, etc. All of the folders have a ton of files, except "graphics" which has nothing in it. What do I do with these folders? Do I just put them on the root of my microSD, and put the .nds file in my "homebrew games" folder?Hey here's a question: in MegaETK there are 2 .nds files, one that just says "MegaETK 1.03.nds" and one that says "MegaETK 1.03(no FAT).nds". What does no FAT mean, and which should I put on my microSD? Thanks
The (MegaETK 1.03.nds) should be the one your using.
The (NoFAT) version is for Flashcarts that don't have a Filesystem. Like the EZFlash 3 in 1
You should probably be using the NoFAT version. MegaETk was created before DLDI was available, so it uses libfat which means it doesn't have any read/write access with most of the recent carts. Using the normal version will just result in it freezing when it tries to scan for save files.
And Nero, the 3in1 does have a file system, like every other cart. As I mentioned above, MegaETk was built using a now outdated method of R/W, so it will freeze when attempting to on a cart incompatible with libfat. The NoFAT version skips all R/W operations.
I feel that DSO is more suitable as a replacement OS than DSLinux.QUOTE said:Ummmmm............. DS Linux

The "root" is the top-most directory on a drive. Basically what you see when you first open it.Ok, thanks Urza for clearing that up. BTW what really is the root? I don't really get it.
"/LemmingsDS" can be changed to anything like "/data/LemmingsDS" or "/HomebrewGames/LemmingsDS"So it can't be in any folders or anything?
By default, correct. Theres a line in the config file (which does have to be in the root no matter what) which allows you to change the location of the LemmingsDS folder.
Open "lemmingsds_config.txt" and find the line that says:
CODELemmings DS Directory
/LemmingsDS
btw. this just prooves how sad is ds homebrew situation
edit: compared to psp

You can feel free to leave.
Concerning Animanatee, for some reason I didn't think about it when I was writing this, as it should probably be on the list instead of FlickBook. Supposedly the next version will have an AVI export option and is planned for release tonight/soon. I'll change it when that happens.
QUOTEEDIT:How can I post Youtube video?
If they have the .NDS extension and aren't hidden they should show up in the menu no matter what,Hey, sorry to butt in w/ my noobishness again, but puzzlemaniak and warcraft tower defense's .nds files don't even show up in my r4 menu. Could someone help me? I downloaded them via the link from your top 30 homebrew list. Do I have to put them in the root of my microSD or something?
