I don't know their (3dbrew owners) stance on the current homebrew development and the way they are created.
There's no real SDK, no real defined and stable environment (some users use Launcher.dat, other gateway's .3ds, others Smealum rednand, etc.), so maybe they would prefer to wait until there's a proper plateform to unify the homebrew scene without the use of pirating devices?
I just think that if they agreed to post the current homebrew on 3dbrew, they will already be there.

Well, I don't know. maybe it's just nobody created a page yet.

I forgot something. The creation of user accounts is disabled, because of bots. That might be a reason aswell.

Yaya, multi-rom finished, just put the roms on the SD and open the emulator, the menu will show with all files on your SD, just select the game and start, to return to menu, just press "L1" on 3DS and select other game.

Now i will work on frameskip on menu, SRAM save(somegames use this), a new benner/icon.

Wow. Just wow. Awesome contribution that is useable by us layman and not just a proof of concept that likely won't see the light of day.

Do you have the source available? You should upload it to git/bitbucket/google code etc. if not. I would love to learn/help. :)

Finally here the 1.0 3DNES, this version have a lot of bug fix(of course, there is other bugs, just send me a email or twitter).

this version currently has:

* Support MMC1, MMC3, MMC5(partial), UNROM, MAPPER 79, AOROM, CNROM.
* Frameskip
* Menu for rom selection.
* Joypad working.

The next 1.x versions will be just bug fix, optimizations and SRAM save support, just in 2.0 will have support a audio.

*How it work* just put your roms on SD card(3DS), and the .3ds on flashcard(gateway), and start the 3DNES, select your game and enjoy, to return to menu just press L1, to up/down frameskip use left/right before start the game.

so this is it, if you like my work and wanna give tips, welcome, if you don't like my work and wanna kill me, welcome too.

Special Thanks: gdkchan, smea, ernilos, and my beta testers :]

Would it be possible to put a filter in the file browser to only show .nes files? Additionally, I have so many gateway saves/other Launcher.dat files that the file browser draws over itself a few times.

Edit: Games in subfolders do not work.
If I copy the game to the root of the SD with the exact same name, and try to load it from a subfolder, it will load.

Controls are very nice now, and I'm impressed the game suspended thing works properly (the current screenshot is actually shown in the background).

Why does 3dNES look better than the actual VC released by Nintendo? I have noticed that the pixels are very blurry on the VC version. I was under the impression that the 3ds might not have enough pixels so Nintendo had scaled them down, I guess this is not the case.

Just loving the potential of 3dNES!!!

How do I give tip ? I can send you a few bitcoins or more conventionnal money...

It's really great to see a real homebrew finally coming to the scene, not some POC stuff or some small buggy homebrew like snake3ds, I really hope the 3ds can be like the PSP at some point :3

Ok well well I will give feedbacks, but as I'm a bit perfectionist maybe what I'll provide will seem boring and not totally necessary ;)

Liking a post on perfectionism, eh? Ok. Lets do this. :tpi:

- Automatic HD upscaling
- 14.5 surround sound
- 3D for every game
- Pause menu hacks the white house
- Generates gift cards for Amazon
- Supports SNES, Wii, GC, N64, and Wii U game in that order!
- Build in CPU
- New 2014 edition

Seriously though, great job! Looking forward to audio support, and keep up the good work!
