Hacking Homebrew channel IR Cursor

My cursor in the wii menu is fine, but once i load up the homebrew channel it goes all over the place, whats the deal?

Most likely because Team Twiilizers wanted to get out a functional homebrew channel.
It's still in beta.
It'll most likely be fine tuned like the Wii Menu after the next few releases.

I assume it's just a beta issue as people have said.
I was thinking they might have copied the IR cursor code from TP, TP has the most delayed cursor compared to other games, and since TP has been a bit of a building block for homebrew.

Mine went wild because I had my console set for the sensor bar to be above the TV, when I actually had the sensor bar below the TV. Changed this in the console and it worked fine. ;]

That can't be the case. I had never previously installed a Hombrew Channel until this. Maybe it's because I installed the WAD and not the ELF, though?

Correct. Random hash based on certain variables in the NAND. There's a ~10% chance of it.
Using IR code from TP however..? Utter garbage. ALL the code for the HBC is completely 100% original, and the team is damn proud of that fact. No silly banner hexedits here unlike certain people around do...

Same for me.
Never installed trial nor hacked trial HC.
Installed released version with WAD and got middle-fingered ^^
to get rid of it : un-installed WAD and installed HC again but with .elf and TP Hack

I know what you mean, the cursor is a bit dodgy and jumpy in the HBC sometimes. Since I topped up my batteries it's been okay though, perhaps your Wiimote's on low batteries like mine were?
