Hey guys, going off topic a little, but I was installing and uninstalling things with my SD card but suddenly my PC doesn't recognise my SD card anymore. Even the homebrew channel doesn't recognise it. Any ideas how to get it back to normal??

Well... maybe it's dead?

Then try formatting with a camera.

It doesn't see it.... I clicked to format it, but then it said 'insert a disk in unit E'
I don't know what's going on, it looks like the computer and the wii can't read it...
I tried putting it in my R4, on the first try I got nothing but on the second try I managed to enter R4 menu and even played a rom.
Any help please???

.

Everyone who makes a banner for a region-specific .elf, be sure to follow their lead!
sarcasm? It's not a single banner. Inside the zip are 3 separate zips each containing usa, jap, and pal versions. With file names and an instruction that say to choose and use the one of the region of your wii... plain and simple.

err wow. NO. that was DEFINITELY NOT SARCASM

. You went out of your way to accommodate every region of the world, I thought it was a good way of handling it.

Damn you internet and your natural tendencies to distort intentions!!!

I dont think that version does support the wii remote. I just replaced that .elf file with the .elf file in paradox's banner channel and now it supports wii remote.

mame freezes at "Sorry, I'm unable to locate mamefs-fs."

anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

@DoyleBrunson:
you need the mamefs-fs file in the root of your SD card. this file is missing in the mame-file of this thread.
you can get the file from http://wiibrew.org/index.php?title=Homebrew_apps/SDL_MAME. you also need a folder named mameroms (with the romfiles) in the root of your SD.

MAME wiki
To install this version of SDLMame:

- Copy the files "boot.elf" and "mamefs-fs" to the root directory of your SD card.

- Copy the directory "mame" and its contents to the root directory of your SD card.

- Create a directory called "mameroms" on the root of your SD card.

- DISABLE WC24 . Emu wont boot with WC on (issues with wiilinux)

To play with this game:

- Insert the SD card in the front SD adapter of your Wii.

- On your Wii, execute the file "boot.elf" using your favourite method for loading applications (Twilight hack or homebrew channel).
If someone gets this all stable, could you upload it so i can fix the one on the main page that is missing a handful of directories

Does anyone know what do I need to get MFE player working?? When I load it using the homebrew channel, all I get is a black screen with loads of letters scrolling very fast. When they stop, the program tells me that it couldn't find the file "mfe\mfe.bzs2" (or something like that, don't remember).
Where can I get this file? And how should the structure of folders be like? Can I play .avi files directly from my SD card??
Thanks...
