FTP is slow for big files. Such as nsp's or xcis usb would definitely be a lot faster

I use the memloader payload to mount the SD which is still inserted in my Switch as an external storage in Windows.
Works pretty good.
Yes as it's a payload I need to reboot my Switch (one time into memloader and another time into the FW afterwards) but as I would have to turn my Switch off nonetheless to remove the SD card that's ok and for you to decide what's better.
I don't want to pull off the kickstand of my Switch too often tbh so memloader is a good solution.

We need a cart that accepts a micro sd card, pretty sure some here could figure out how to run xci from the cart slot instead. No need to restart then.

Libnx already has example code to make the switch show up as a USB to serial device. Someone could fairly easily combine that with uboot's USB mass storage code

I would have done this if I had a switch. as a principle I don't develop software for devices I don't have physical access to (it's too hard)
