Hacking Homebrew and Wiikey together:Is it poss???

I have a pal wii with wiikey v1 installed.
It has never been updated since first install.
Was wondering if it was possible to say have the homebrew channel set up installed(twilight hack etc).
Is it poss to have the two things together and then say just play usa wii games via homebrew channel and pals via wiikey?
Are there any conflicts to consider?

Yeah, I have the homebrew channel and a V1 WiiKey it works fine.

It all works together. You get the advantages of a console that can play pretty much any game without having to use a particular loader and then the fail safe and exploits the homebrew gives you. I personally believe that you should just get a mochip. Much less hassle in the long run.
