What do you mean? Are you talking about the Sun and Moon 1.1 Update? And what code.bin are you talking about, specifically? To patch it would I have to do the entire process again? Delete what update? I'm still somewhat new to this.
Yes, the Sun/Moon 1.1 update. You only need to patch the code.bin found in the 1.1 update, because, yes, there is a code.bin inside of the update. And if you downloaded the update, you have to use that code.bin. If you downloaded the update, follow this to obtain the code.bin from it but ignore step 8 as that's for something else.

Using the guide I got to the step where it says to paste .code multiple times and when I do and look at my SD card, there is nothing similarly named to this. Should I name the .code something the next time I try it? And why wouldn't I use step 8, since I'm trying to patch Sun to get no outlines?

EDIT: Going to try launching the game now.

Because you have another program to patch the file. Can you please PM me so that we can get this straightened out?
