Gaming Hitachi 78 Spoofed as BenQ

I have a Hitachi that is spoofed as a BenQ and works fine. Problem is it is not flashed.

I have attempted to get the drive in Mode B with Slax 2.1 but because its spoofed it wont work. Windows will not see the drive at all, and i tried to do the half open try like a benq drive but it still doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to get the drive so it can be flashed? And does it need to be in mode B?

Honestly, this is more advanced stuff. I myself do not know how to flash an already spoofed drive. I suggest going to xbox-scene as they can definitely help you with this.

the slax disc wont work because the drive identifies as a benq to the pc.

you should use the new jungleflasher, faq is included just read it on how to get in modeb.

then flash as usual.
