This is a simple thread where the whole point is to hide a link to a youtube video inside of a emoji. How do you do that? Simple. Follow these directions.

  1. Pick a emoji. Pick one that seems to best represent the video you link to. For this example, I'll use this one :yayswitch: so the video should be relevant to the nintendo switch. Place the emote in the "Writing box" (Whatever you call this box you make post with.)
  2. After picking the emote, go to youtube and pick a video. Once again, the emoji has a "Smiley face with a thumbs up, holding a nintendo switch." So I'll pick this video, mostly cause the emoji has a switch which is the key part of the emoji.
  3. Copy the video url to your clipboard. You can find it by clicking the share function while viewing the video, it even has a nice "copy" button for you.
  4. Highlight the emoji by clicking, holding, and dragging the cursor across it. You should be able to do this on any device that uses a web browser.
  5. This part has two ways to do it. The easy way is to use the "link" feature inside the tool bar. It looks like a chain link icon next to the font editing functions. A box asking for a url should pop up and that's where you paste the youtube video url you copied in step 2.

If you followed the directions properly, the emoji should be possible to clic, leading to a youtube video. (Try clicking the one above) It's possible to hide any url besides youtube videos. I just feel it is a more common place people visit frequently and share stuff from. If you want to hide something other than youtube url, I recommend using http://tinyurl.com/

The reason for this is because of a easy way to spoil what link is hidden in the emoji. By hovering the cursor over the emoji, it reveals the url. Some of them actually expose the content and defeats the purpose of "hiding" them. An example is this website here. https://gbatemp.net/threads/gbatemp-introduces-the-meme-box.532448/ Notice how it shows "the meme box" in the link. Tiny url can fix that to hide such info. https://tinyurl.com/yywngf55 (THE MORE YOU KNOW)

So without further wait, let the fun commence.
