Sorry if this has been asked before, i have searcher a lot though.. with no resolve. Umm this will prolly make me look like a supa nub but dont hate! lol k my question: I have already installed 5 games in total and i just want to know how i can put more on.. do i have to take the current wads off my SD card before loading the new ones on? or can i just keep my current ones add the new ones and use the LoZ:TP hack to get the new ones on? or will this make a 2nd channel for each of the ones i have currently installed? @_@ please help lol.. i dont wanna format my memory and lose all my saves, etc... ='(

Keep all the WADs you want on your SD card.

Use Wad Manager to install/uninstall them.

If you want to keep saves, copy them to your SD card though the memory manager in the Wii menu.

Do not install the same wad twice. Sometimes this will brick your wii.

Always make sure you have enough room on your Wii to install the wad.

Umm so i need Homebrew Chan for Wad manager? i thought i heard some nasty stuff about the HBC.. that it could harm your system and cause bricking... help? lol

1. Short answer: No
2. Long answer: TP hack
3. Very long answer: It's faster and easier to use. (HBC channel)

It shouldn't brick your wii.

Yeah, install the HBC and use WADManager instead of the WAD Installer/Uninstaller... That way you can select which wads to install.

okay.. i have the HBC now, so how do i use it?! lol theres nothing to do in it.. all i really want is the WAD manager but how do i get it?

am i supposed to delete the stuff i placed on my card to install HBC channel? or am i supposed to keep that wiiload folder? and readme? and boot.elf...? this should be my last question thank you so much for all this help!

Go to this thread.
Create 'apps' folder on root of the SD card.
next make folders named as you want in this folder and place three files found in packages from the link above
Insert SD card into Wii
Boot Homebrew Channel. End.

You can have other files on SD.

Ty very much you have been very helpful!! is there any way i can like... fame you? or give you karma points or reputation points or something? lol

You might also want to install the Homebrew Browser (it basically lists available homebrew and installs/uninstalls software in the homebrew channel)... Although most of the homebrew games are "work in progress" (at best) some of the emulators work well and I spend more time playing old Lucas Arts games on ScummVM than is healthy ;o)

Oh, and don't be tempted to install the various custom "channels" that are knocking about, stick with the HBC for running homebrew. Not only do the extra channels use the Wii internal memory instead of the SD for storage (and it aint got much!) but you carry the risk of bricking your Wii if any of them are badly packaged or corrupt.
