I finally got this running on a US console with US dump. Supply us with your dump details please.

You need - The Wonderful 101 v16 including patch fix

I also have a pal 5.5.1 console. I will give this a try tonight if you like and let you know why my results are?

v16 is needed, Repack data002.cpk with English(US) folder to fix voice skipping and load the game in less than 2 minutes, remove language folders afterwards.

The USA version runs fine on a EUR console except that for some reason all the subtitles are in Japanese with no apparent way to change this - everything else, such as Menu text, is OK

Next time check the compatibility list: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Loadiine_compatibility_list
Sounds like it would be best to download an EUR copy unless you like having Japanese subtitles.
