Hacking Help with R4i3DS

So, I bought an R4 for y 3DS, and it works great; quite happy with it.
However, I have a game that simply will not work with it, and I'm wondering if its normal or just me or what not.
The game is Animal Crossing: Wild World.
I've downloaded the rom from several different sites, formatting anything to do with Animal Crossing before I put the new rom in.
I've also tried to do something call ARM7 to it, using a program I believe was just called ARM7.
It still refuses to work, and its a favorite game of mine. So is there anything I can do? or do all R4's refuse to play the rom?

    There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

    But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

    Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
