Hacking Help with patching games

so my r4 doesnt play anything new
i tried wood and ysmenu they both dont work
so i tried patching games to play them with my r4 original FW
first spirit tracks used to freeze on nintendo's logo
but after i did the patching (arm7.bin way)
it worked but only audio no video (weird)
the weird thing is that i can hear the clicking of my stylus and choosing new game
and after the nintendo logo the power led blinks then the video shuts off, only audio.

so whats wrong with it ?

edit : i even patched soul silver but it still freezes

if u have a "genuine" r4, you should not be experiencing these problems. check which one you have...

and why dont people learn that clones are so shitty!!!
you can get a cyclods, aceakard, or get the original one!!

If it has an "i" in it, it's a clone.
If it's SDHC, it's a clone.
If it says "Renovation," it's a clone.
If it has an element in it, it's a clone. (Gold, Silver) - Well, I think those are elements. I forget what they actually are.

I'm having problems with pokemon soul silver with freezing on emulation with an m3dsreal card, using the m3sakura firmware, can anybody point me in the direction of a fix?

i've used rudolf's child patch play

sorry to clog up your thread... i don't know if this will help or not but if you download a different system's firmware, 'system' folder and use it instead of the one supplied with the cartridge you may have more luck, always back up your files!
