Hello Everybody, Thanks for reading :)

So here's the problem : I have a R4i (clone of course) and the 1.44 Kernel update has been released (A month ago actually).
But the link just doesn't work !! http://www.ndsill.net/ is where I download my firmwire normally, but when I click on Kernel Update I get this :

Please Help !! I really need this update for DSiWare access !! Thanks !!

Are you sure that's the right link?

I visit that site, and the link to the 1.44 kernel is what I posted. I'm not seeing the link you're giving anywhere on the page.

Woops sorry, Got confused between "Kernel" and "Firmware". Nevermind the Link I gave you, figured out it's not the one I need...
Yes, I can easily download the Kernel (Eng.rar), But don't I need the Firmware Updater ?
Normally on these R4 Clones, the Kernel alone is not enough, you need to download the flashcart updater, launch it on the R4 THEN update the DSi.
For example, when I want to update THIS Flashcart :

I download this link and apply it first, and when the flashcart is done updating, I update the console, THEN I copy the new Kernel in the MicroSD Root.
The problem is, I can't do so with the NDSiLL Flashcart !! I need the Updating tool !!

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
