ROM Hack Help Wanted for Mario Kart ROM hack

I need a team for a pretty ambitious hack. I'm trying to re-create the GDC 2005 version of Mario Kart DS! I need help hacking the title screen, music, and possibly ASM if I want the Lakitu countdown lights, and speedometer. I've already done some work, which is porting some beta item sprites to the final. Message me if you're interested!
