First of all I do not advocate cheating. lol. My kids all have the R4. My son somehow figured out how to use the cheat on pokemon pearl where you get all of the pokemon in your pokedex. My 11 yo daughter managed to do the same thing. So they are happily playing right now. My 12 yo daughter cannot get it to work on hers-she tried it on her ds and my ds-and let's just say an unhappy 12 yo girl is not a fun thing. It will either freeze up or just plain doesn't work. Do I need to download a different cheat file? Do something to her r4 files? Anything? Or will I have to learn how to use the Pokesav program?

If just for PC I would recommend an external hard drive like 2 TB and just build your own bootable drive -

Although even if it's the steam deck and a 1TB MicroSD I would still recommend building it yourself.... Almost all the builds I tried just sucked
