Homebrew Question Help Rcm Not Working

Hello So I bought a joycon rig and put it onto my switch and I booted up TegraRCMGUI and it said no rcm and im using a usb c cable so its connected although my switch when I boot it up it shows a dead battery image even though its been charging for like 3 hours

Maybe the RCM Drivers didn't properly installed check your computer for that. Also you said it shows the dead battery icon? Maybe your battery isnt fully charged or not working.

You might got a bootlegged one if jig placed on the right joycon rail and holding down + volume and pressing the power button doesn't get you into rcm mode then you might have one badly made, I bought one in the past that doesn't work, I recommend one from kits.

Follow this guide to test if you got a patched unit or not if you can get into rcm mode first.
