Homebrew [Help] Pokemon White + Black 2 dumps not AP patching or loading in TM++

N3DSXL. After dumping the carts using GM9, then FTP'ing them to my desktop, the ROM tool will "AP patch" it, but it will still black and white screen after returning it to the SD card. I have tried the following:

• Re-dumping the ROMs
• Using both the trimmed and full versions
• Using TM++'s built-in AP patches/cheats
• Running it in DS and forced DSi modes

I'm running low on optimism. The full list of steps that I took is below

Spoiler: Steps to re-produce

1. Checked to see if cart is working, standard retail carts (both perfectly functional)
2. Powered down 3DS
3. Booted into GodMode9
4. Copied the .nds file onto the SD card
5. Ejected the cart after copying, inserted second cart and copied
6. Powered on, checked to see if TM++ patches worked (no go)
   
7. Ran 3DShell's FTP server to copy ROMs on desktop
8. Ran both ROMs through the DS Scene AP tool
9. Copied the AP'd ROMs back to the SD card
10. Attempted to run them in TM++ (failed)

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't need to manually AP-patch the ROMs, or use the AP cheats either.
TWiLight Menu++ includes the AP-patch, and nds-bootstrap will use it to patch the ROM on-the-fly.

It works now. Go figure, it originally wouldn't even get to the nds-bootstrap screen.
