ROM Hack help on Pkm soulsilver

I'm having alittle problem. i was playing Pokemon SS till it started freezing so i looked up online a patch for it "Rudolph's universal childs play patch" after i patched my rom and i tried to start up the patched one. my saved game doesnt load up. what do i do? i really dont want to start a new game

May I know WHY do you patch it?

Well it kept freezing and sometime when im about to enter a new route everything goes black. It also crashes sometime when i enter buildings

this is an emulator related problem.
try desmume emulator.

all roms run fine on the flashcard in my ds
