Hello!

I'm trying to connect my PSP to my laptop. Unfortunately it won't detect my psp. I guarantee that the USB connector or the USB port of the PSP is not the issue. I think it has something to do with the drivers itself. So I tried installing the drivers manually but I get an error message.

When I use my win7 32-bit laptop, which is older, it can detect my PSP, allowing me to access the files.

I plug in the PSP in to the computer its comes up as a removable drive so no drivers needed. It could be the usb cable that is ether broken or faulty. mine automatically goes to usb mode for file transfer. PS. model is a 3000. must me a problem with one of your computers.

I'm trying to connect the PSP itself.
My other laptop can detect it and even has the option "Eject USB Type A PSP".

I'm guessing it has something to do with my drivers and now I am looking for the driver PSP USB Type A.
