Hacking HELP: Nintendo 3DS Cosmo Black Console - US Model

Hi

Newbie here.

I bought a nintendo 3ds black from the US (US model), was cheap. Well put it this way came from another country, not the UK.

I am wondering can i play UK games on the US console? Or will i need the R4/AceKard whichever card fits and then download any region games on to the card?

the system firmware is Version 1.1.0-0U

You can play out of region DS games, but not 3DS games. There is currently no way to play 3DS games from another region, and there is no flashcart for 3DS games.

And correct. You'll only be able to play games released in North America.

No, you can not play EU-region or JP-region games on your US-model.

In time however, this will be possible but that will probably take some time so don't count on it in the near future.

Actually, I hope they don't crack it because then that will cause developers to move away from the 3DS and not really make any games for it.

the reason ds has so many shitty games because Nintendo let anything go aka cash cow it is not the cause of the warezing.

Exactly. Walk into ANY EB games of Gamestop and look at the DS section. That enough is proof.
