Hacking Help New to R4

Help I'm new to the R4 a work friend told me about the r4 and I ordered it but I'm not sure what to do. Do I have to install any software. My work buddy had games on his. How do you do this? I found a site requiring emule but it looked a little fishy? Any thoughts for the clueless here?

1. Download the latest firmware from the official website (1.15 ATM): http://www.r4ds.com/index-en.htm

2. Copy every file in the rar to your MicroSD.

3. Also copy whichever ROMs or homebrew youwould like to play.

4. Insert the memory card into the R4, and the R4 into your DS.

5. Play!

Goto Youtube.
Type in "R4 Tutorials(or)R4: How to put games". There you go. Follow the steps, and done.

Anyone know a good place to get skins?

It can't be in any folders. For example if your SD card was in "F:\"

It would be F:\_DS_MENU.DAT

It was in a folder on my drive instead of up front so I took it out of the folder and now it works.

There's a great site called GBATemp (just Google it). They have a download section with skins in it.
