Hacking Help needed, wiimote does not work after running wad

I had a problem a while back where my Wiimotes wouldn't sync. I read that you can clear the linked Wiimotes from the Wii and then add them back. It worked for me, so maybe its worth a shot. Here's what I did:

- Start with the Wii and all Wiimotes turned off.
- Turn on the Wii only using the Power button
- While at the Health Warning; HOLD the sync button on the Wii console only (don't even touch the Wiimotes yet) for 20 seconds
- Let go of sync button on the Wii
- Now PRESS the sync button on the Wii (not hold)
- Press (not hold) the sync button on the Wiimote(s)
