Hacking Help me, please?

Hello guys, I recently bought a used nintendo ds lite silver, and when I was trying to load games like Ghost tricks or pokemon black, nothing happens but a white screen. After all, I figure out I have to update my R4 CARD which I can't seem to do since I can't understand many of the guides I found in all forums. And so, I was wondering if any of you, could help me 'cause I really want to play the new games that are coming out for the ds.

Lastly, my R4 card says it has a V1.18 and it has some music and boot options as well.

PS: It would help me a lot if anyone could tell me what's the first step to update my r4 card so I can play the new games I described above. All kind of help will be appreciated.

If your R4 is running 1.18, that hopefully means your card is a real or 1:1 direct clone of the real R4s and not some crap with the R4 name slapped on it.
Does it say -JUST- "R4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)" on the label? No i, no SDHC, no Ultra, no III, no Upgrade, no anything else.

If so, I would suggest you copy all your games to your PC and then format your MicroSD with this: http://filetrip.net/f10976-SDFormatter-Version-3-0BETA.html
And then copy WoodR4 to your MicroSD: http://filetrip.net/f23723-Wood-R4-1-23.html
Then finally copy all your games back.
