Hacking Help me please :/ .cia problems

Hey,
So i recently downgraded my 3dsxl from 10.3-20E to 4.5.0-8E and successfully managed to install rxtools CFW. I then injected the Health and Safety app with FBI and have been able to install some .cia files such as bigbluebox just fine with no problems.

I have acquired a .cia copy of Pokémon Rumble Blast which has also installed successfully but when i go to load up the game it comes up with the normal 3ds splash screen and then a black screen, then an error...

"An error has occurred,
forcing the software to close.
The system will now restart.
(Unsaved data may be lost.)"

I'm not really sure why it is doing this and I have so far tried re-downloading, re-installing the .cia, formatting through gateway. I dont know what else to try so any help would be great

Do you have emunand installed and updated up to 10.3? It sounds to me like you are installing cias that need higher firmware versions in your 4.5 sysnand.

Yes i think so, im kinda new to all this so sorry if im a bit of a noob.
When i open the rxtools menu it says EmuNAND in green and it launches fine in EmuNAND

Can you try some othet cias?

Maybe the cia you downloaded is corrupted.

Ill give it a go, i was thinking it may be something with that but I wasn't sure as it is the first actual 3ds game i had installed, i wasn't sure whether i had missed something out, ill try get another copy of it though and ill let you know.

Does it matter that it is a USA copy of the game btw? Im using a EUR 3dsxl so im not sure if its compatible together?

you should be able to start us games through hans from the homebrew loader.

What is "Hans"? and how do i access the homebrew launcher? do i have to install it or access it through a site on the 3ds?

Sounds like you have an old rxTools version. Update to the latest nightly as the old versions aren't fully compatible with latest emuNAND.

Hey, I think i figured out what the problem, the rom i was using wasn't region free and was a US rom, it wouldnt work on my EU 3dsxl.
I have downloaded several other roms which are region free and all of which seem to be working just fine.
So it was either because it was region locked to US or just a corrupted rom i guess.
