The last time I've bought a new desktop computer was back in 2004. Back then, I actually knew what graphics card to buy, which CPU has the best price/performance ratio, which kind of RAM worked the best ... and got a pretty good gaming rig for a small amount of money, it was practically a steal (and I realised that pre-built PC most stores sell were rip-offs). However, then I was sucked in the world of consoles and became a complete console 'tard. I'm out of touch with which hardware is good and which isn't. So, I'm asking YOU, the good people of GBAtemp, to help me build a new PC.
I'm looking at a price range from 350 € - 400 € (that's around $440 - $500). Yeah, I'm a cheapskate, but I still want a decent gaming computer (that will run Crysis, GTA IV, Far Cry 2, Spore and The Sims 3 normally). I'd appreciate it if any you remained objective. (no amd, intel, nvidia fanboys!)
Thanks.
