Hacking HELP LUMA 8.1 may have bricked

so i havent used my old 3ds in about a month today i just picked up and in luma updater updated to 8.1 *** now the 3ds wont boot up the blue light flash for 1 second

i just googled a bit and read that luma 8.1 only works with boot9strap v1.2 mine had a previous verion from about a month ago

i tryed to updating to latest b9s https://3ds.guide/updating-b9s

im at this part but the 3ds still wont boot
Section II - Installing boot9strap

1. Reboot holding (Start) during boot to launch the Luma3DS chainloader menu

the 3ds wont boot with or without sd card ???
what can i do

Setup Luma3DS 7.1 first, then update to B9S 1.2. After that, setup 8.1
