Hardware Help installing screen protector.

As someone who's very nitpicky about trapped dust, I feel your pain. The bottom screen of the 3DS is particularly frustrating due to its raised edges. Make sure that the underside of the screen protector is dust free - there have been times when I've made the screen itself dust free but just as I'm about to drop the protector, dust from underneath (from the layer that covers the protector) falls onto the screen and I had to start over.

Other than that, a steamy room helps (though not essential) and always have some tape on hand for dust removal.

What you need is a fume hood, like they use in hard disk recovery and laboratories. It sucks all the air upward so dust doesn't settle.

Maybe I will try it after covid quarantine ends, as my dad has a fume hood at his work. It is a good idea though.

I got another idea. A friend's house that will let you steam up their shower room Why didn't I think of that before.
