Android {help} installing android os or removing ads on kindle fire hd 6 2014 edition

I need help removing the ads in my 2014 kindle fire hd 6... I see a whole bunch of root exploits for the 2015 models but, none for the 2014 models??? seems weird to me that nobody has worked on root exploits for the 2014 model??? is there a way I can root my kindle fire hd 6 so I can remove the ads and have the option for a new os???
