I have an o3ds xl and I bought a n3ds xl and I want your help to importing save data from old to new. I tried to copy extdata/0016a6 from old and pasted it to new but the game told it is corrupted. Must I use Checkpoint to import the save ?

Sorry for my broken english

Yes, you must use Checkpoint or JKSM to share saves. It's because games and saves in the Nintendo 3DS folder are uniquely encrypted to each 3DS system.

Have you heard about hacking your 3DS with custom firmware for free with Frogminer?
