Help. I cant open Forwarder3ds.jar

So I wanna emulate pokemon black on my 3ds. Cause cool. And everything was fine until I tried to open my forwarder3ds.jar. It should run as an application, but it just does nothing. I click it and it does nothing. I try to open it, but it does nothing. I even have a windows computer. Please help me out. (the guide I'm using)

You need the Java runtime to run jar files. I your file wont start normally you can use your command line and launch it manually with

java -jar file.jar

Forwarder3-DS is very picky about Java version and such, make sure you have Java 8 specifically, not newer not older.

There's also NDSForwarder which can make forwarders right on the 3DS no Java required.
