Homebrew Help for a beginner who isn't sure what they're doing?

Hello there. I'm looking for some help on how to get DS game files onto my 3DS and working. So essentially, what programs to use, and/or a link to a guide or something. I've searched for guides myself, but I'm next to clueless about this stuff. I'd like to think I'm intelligent enough, but with no experience with any of this stuff, you may as well speak to me as if you're explaining it to a child, lol.

What I have done is I've successfully completed the Seedminder method on 3ds.hacks.guide a month or so ago, so I know how to port over 3DS games using CIA files. I just don't know how to build up from that and port over DS files. Can I do that with any of the programs I have from that method, or do I need to get new programs for this?

I would say try out Twilightmenu++ first (instructions on how to install in the link). If this is sufficient for your needs when it comes to NDS games, then you're good. If you find it not up to what you want then go ahead and buy what @Shadow#1 recommended. I'm not up to date on what limits twilightmenu++ and nds-bootstrap has, but at least it is free.

I'm so sorry for the late reply. I've been quite busy as of late and this post had slipped my mind.

So are you guys saying that there is no solution akin to the Seedminer one, but for DS games? As-in, just software and not requiring the purchase of specific hardware to make it possible?

Twilightmenu++ is software and only requires cfw 3ds, which you have.

Ah, thank you, that's great news. Sorry to have to make you spell it out for me like that, but that's exactly what I needed. Now we see if I can follow the installation instructions well enough to not break my 3DS, lol. Wish me luck.
