I just tried updating my 3ds from rxtool to luma using 3ds guide but after I got the first error " an exception occured" I tried using luma firmware 7.1 but then when I plug in my sd card it said launcher not supported. I can not even acces homebrew anymore. Also with out the sd card my machine will not turn on. please help me.
Hacking Help failed to install luma now i think it brick. please help

I forgot to tell you I'm using an old 3ds XL and was running firmware 9.20. before this happen original firmware was working and I could access homebrew
Dude, I answered your question in the noob thread. You just need to finish the guide. You need version 8.1.1 of Luma. Download the zip and put the boot.firm on the root of your SD card.
If you're getting those errors, you're not bricked. The problem is Luma can't load the home menu. If you followed the guide, you should have godmode9 installed as payload. If you hold START while booting, it should boot into that app. This will prove your B9S install is good and recoverable. If that works, delete your home menu's extdata. It's on the troubleshooting page on the guide. Also, if you had an emunand restore it to sysnand.

If this was the problem then the console wouldn't start up - it would blink the blue light and shut off.
I know, I was saying that's the one he needs to be using since he has v1.2 of B9S and when he tried going back to 7.1, it gave him the " launcher unsupported error" again.
Not for the blue light error.
