Hacking HELP: Converting Cheat DAT files

I would like to know if and how can R4DS/M3DSimply cheat.dat files can be converted to usercheat.dat files for DS TopToy.

There are great Contra 4 codes on the R4/M3 that aren't in the latest usercheat.dat (CodeJunkies) for DSTT.

You have to use the R4 code editor, then uncheck something....... I forgot.

You could try opening the R4 cheat .dat file, then save as usrcheat.dat and put it in the TTMenu folder

Actually, I opened the cheat.dat and saved it as cheat.xml, then imported that and saved it as usercheat.dat and left "encrypting" unchecked. Worked great on Contra 4 - haven't tested anything else yet.

I include a standard unencrypted usrcheat.dat in my download. Go for it dude! That's what it's there for. The link is in my sig.

My download contains the normal encrypted cheat.dat, the unenrypted usrcheat.dat, a cheat.db, a cheat.xml and a credits and help text.

To be honest, I don't know what all carts they actually support, but I have all those in there to support as many carts as I can.

It has most of the cheats for USA and Euro games. Some of the more popular Japanese games are in there too.

I do it because I love and appreciate GBAtemp and ALL of its members.
