I'm not sure, but I think ironhax and ninhax works on 10.2

Ironhax will work if you have Ironfall from before they pulled and patched it. Menuhax is patched as of 10.2.

Yeah I know about it but I had a download code for a Triforce heroes theme so I want to claim it and I don't really care about Hans that much so meh.

IIRC you can go INSIDE the eShop and DL themes, so your point is irrelevant.
If you have Ironhax (Ironfall BEFORE Sept. 2015), Ninjhax (Cubic Ninja), or Oot3DHax (Oot3D+dongle or a friend's 3ds which wasnt updated) you can get back into homebrew.
Heck, on menuhax, you can even use custom themes now

You could have just downloaded a CIA of the theme and extracted it. Then install it with CHMM2. A theme is not worth updating for.

You forgot a few things. Also, maybe the OP does spam-A, or he didn't know of eShop access? Also, Smea doesn't release every entry point, some are made by yellows8, etc.

But there is zero need to update. Themes can be side loaded with CHMM2 (even official ones) and we have eShop access.

You can still get in, through paidhax/ironhax.

I personally fucked up, didn't backup themehax before going into the extdata tool, regret that now. BUT my friend has a 3DS that hasnt been on in a year and has Oot3D, so I'm fine, I can reinstall menuhax, because I block updates

To update your system, you actually have to tap Accept
