So Wii Classic Controller has Analog Triggers and it works fine with Nintendont. But has there been any Wii game that natively worked with it? Later Classic Controller Pro has Digital buttons only but Nintendo must have intended it to be used but I can't remember nor can i find any info on this

I have tested Need For Speed The Run. The game recognizes analog trigger input. But there is no analog throttle control. It is full pedal to the medal as soon as game registers gas input.

Yup, that is most likely the case since its not a sim racer. I only put it into NewoZero because mr repeater suggested it. If you have a homebrewed wii test it out. What about trackmania?

I have tested Need for Speed Undercover and it actually has analog throttle control. So far this was the first racing game that I have seen that supports throttle modulation with analog triggers. I was able to go fast and slow depending on the trigger pressure.

I have tested several games and surprisingly later Wii racing games had Analog trigger support. But earlier games doesn't even support Classic Controllers.

Dirt 2: Analog triggers work
GT Pro Series: Wii Remote only
MotoGP: Doesn't support Classic Controller
Need for Speed - Carbon: Doesn't support Classic Controller
Need for Speed - ProStreet: Doesn't support Classic Controller
Need for Speed - The Run: Analog triggers works as digital input
Need for Speed - Undercover: Analog triggers work
Need for Speed - Nitro: Analog triggers work
Need for speed - Hot Pursuit: Analog triggers work
Trackmania: Supports classic controller but A is gas. So digital input only
NewoZero: Analog triggers work
Rotozoa: Analog triggers work
F1 2009: Analog triggers work

I had seen racers on current gen systems using the right analog stick for accelaration so I implemented that as well in NZ when you are using the gamecube or classic controller. Can you imagine how many things would be added if the there were still updating the wii? Of course within the limits of the hardware.

No, it's just that Nintendo didn't care for it.

What an annoying mess, makes buying the Classic Controller pointless and better just go with the Pro Controller or the GCN controller (when supported).

Its always better to have the option and not use it. rather than to not have the option at all.
Sure... But when it recognizes as digital triggers most of the time it's upsetting because the damn thing has analog triggers. :(

I hope Nintendo gets back to use analog triggers again on the next Switch console. Eh, not too hopeful.

Earlier, I read that the Wii Classic Controller is compatible with GCN games! 😍

Hori also made GCN-like controllers to connect to the Wiimote so I assume they're compatible, too.

Update: It doesn't work natively, it needs the homebrew app Nintendont to do so.

To my memory, Fluidity (a WiiWare title) and Art:Style Rotozoa both support analog triggers, as well
