i actually have a guy from nintendo hq in canada calling back to NoJ about these bans because when i went there earlier i got roughly the same thing and he offered me the redemption codes i told him no thanks if nintendo really wanted my money theyd unban me so for now ill just deal with everythingbfor free and told him i was off to refund my pokemon moon to go play the pirated version (had physical copy there with me) lmao he looked so upset about it too. (also before someone is like nintendo ninjas r gonna get you this is canada our legal system and judges dont give jack shit about piracy unless youre distrubuting or making profit so nintendo is SoL on getting me for this :^) )
With that sort of attitude you have, where you are going to get pirated versions, Nintendo of Japan will say you definitely deserve a ban. There's this no-tolerance corporate policy for anyone violating the ToS involving piracy, hacking, and using features on games that are not authorized or publicly available yet.

They would rather lose opportunities for earning money, than to allow banned players be unbanned.

Guys, is it safe to transfer your save from the leaked .cia to a legit cart? Or do I need to restart again just to be safe?

everyone that went online early, does deserve the ban.

Hacker: oh, it is perfectly safe to access a game's server before that game is even supposed to be released.

Oh, if you could tell me what they tell you in PM I'll be so grateful. I'd like to Transfer mi NNID if it's posible, but if not, id like to get back my games, themes and badges

Hindsight is nice isn't it?

The fact is that when it comes to Nintendo and the 3DS it has always been safe. This is new.

Can't I unlink my ID from the banned one? I'm trying to overwrite my banned 3DS.
The moment your console is perma banned your NNID is perma banned as well regardless of what anyone else might say in other pages... the purpose of me opening this account is just to rectify some of these NNID not banned myth floating around...

Reading the last 35 pages, the gist is a lot of comments are saying the bans are on Nintendo of Japan tier. This means all branches in Europe and NA cannot overturn the bans given from Nintendo of Japan. So, no,you're basically wasting your time.

Also interested in this, if anyone has tried already, I can't, waiting 2 more days for system transfer.

I have a feeling the guy didn't care as much as you thought he did. he was probably just annoyed that you were acting like an entitled prick. used to have to deal with people like you when I was working in customer service, as soon as they turned their backs I was like "I don't care what you do with that shit, what a tool"

Yeah the lady that I spoke to is really nice... but she emphasize on the fact that it is a NoJ ban... so NoA is unable to do anything..

It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament

maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
