I wanna ask again, so, now, is it safe to go online with the leaked 3ds file? Thanks for replying! ^^
No, it is not, we still do not know if the 0102 ban will be 15 days or perma, they can give you a worst ban based on other things on the 3DS.

U can wait the 15 days and see whats happens or install the public LFCS but at least backup your original, the one that was banned maybe after the 15 days U can inject it back and be free to play online with it, if not, well, buy a cheap 2ds to grab a new LFCS or a NEW 3DS to play online with it and the old banned one for solo or local wireless game plays.

I think you misunderstood my question.. xD I was asking that since the game has been released now, is it safe to connect online with the leaked 3ds game without getting a ban?

This is a debatable question. Some people are saying the leak is perfectly safe since they where only after people who where online early, while others say it isn't due to Nintendo being able to detect the code of the game. That means they could instantly ban it through a wave so nintendo can tell you that you went online with a illegal copy if you ask them through customer service. The best way to be mostly safe is to just delete the leaks software+ticket and download the one from the freeshop.

It's a permanent ban. So if you want to play with fire, go ahead.

Grab the good CIA from FreéShop, CIAngel or CDN-FX.

i don't understand why everyone keeps asking if it's safe to use the leaked .cia. just fucking back up your save, delete the title and ticket in FBI, and grab a clean .cia from the freeshop.

like why are people risking this? are they really that lazy? depending on how fast your internet is this entire process takes less than an hour. i just don't see how this is worth the risk. especially if you're using the shared seed. smh.

Hey, just want a confirmation, if we play a .3ds rom, we don't have its ticket installed, right? So, we don't have to delete the ticket using FBI, right? Thanks for replying!

Jesus christ, people.

Where did Lurantis get the game from? A cart. He dumped a cart 10 days early. It is NO different than someone dumping the cart after release. Most games I have installed are cart dumps.

Nintendo CANNOT tell you're using a cart dump and doesn't ban for it.

People were banned for playing ONLINE EARLY.

Use your god damn head.

Lurantis' cia is fine, any cias are fine, as long as your region has the game already released.

So how is Nintendo able to detect it as a illegal copy if asked on customer service? Something doesn't quite add up exactly.Id like to see someone to report after a week or so if they gotten banned but with alot of people taking the safe route it should be less likely hopefully.

i'm 99% certain the leaked cia is fine. i believe there is enough evidence that nintendo just blanket banned anyone who went online before the launch, whether they had a legit cart or the cia.

however, why would we be spreading information other than better safe than sorry? there is no reason to not get rid of the leak and just get a pure copy from freeshop. why wouldn't you want that? the fact that there is that nagging 1% chance that the leak might not be safe in the long run is enough to spend the minimal time to update to a legit copy.

If Nintendo was so worried about illegal cias vs legal cias, then they would legally demand Google to stop throwing results for "game cia cfw download". They don't. Because that's not what Nintendo is after. They banned dumb people who connected to their servers 10 days before the release date. I was paranoid about it as well, but now that hype is gone and I see it all clearly.

t.the falseflagger that wants everyone banned.

You lose NOTHING by using the freeshop ver instead of the leaked one. Literally no such thing as being too safe

Also explain the 022 ban? Because cart leaks only got 002 and not both 002 and 022 from the leaked cart cia
