Gaming Harvest Moon ToTT: multiplayer problem?

I've been trying to find my friend code for HM tale of two towns and when i go into the multiplayer section, then friend roster where it's suppose to be shown, the FC section is blank..

does anyone know if this is a rom problem? or am i not looking at the right place?

I had this problem at first. What I did was just add someone in my friendlist and it appeared after! Try adding people who freely post their friendcode
