I have read the tutorial over and over on how to hard mod a old 3ds xl. Yesterday i spent about 4 hours solid fiddling to get it all done.
After stumbling across numerous issues i had to resolve i finally got to the stage where i can read the 3ds using win32 disk imager.
But when i come to write my 9.2 nand.bin (which i renamed to nand.img?) i get the following message:
AN ERROR OCCURRED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO WRITE DATA TO HANDLE.
ERROR 19. THE MEDIA IS WRITE PROTECTED.
So i notice the little lock switch was missing on the sd card, so after reading up on google it seems you can easily bypass that by putting tape across where the switch was. I tried all this but to no avail. I remember before i opened the sd card that i noted that the switch was NOT in the lock position. However upon opening it up the switch flew away.
Any help???
