You only need arm11 kernel for downgrading. So we dont need arm9 kernel like all of these people are shitting themselves about to downgrade.
Yeah, I know about that. With ARM11 kernel I think you can get AMPXI and bypass checks as said on 3dbrew. (Maybe that am:net is not able to remove NATIVE_FIRM so..)

you have to either dump the update and dlc data necessary to have the entire thing, undecrypt all of it through a pretty stupid process, and then combine it with romfs, ORRRRR ask someone who already has it and pray you're not shot for warez requests.
doesn't work, i'm assuming it doesn't actually patch the update data in this way, but rather just the visual cues of it doing so (such as the update text on the screen). hasn't been any confirmations of it working at all in any form besides that on the title screen.

Someone should figure out where the romfs check is and remove it so we can load romfs files from other games with say a copy of cubic ninja.

I'm about 90% sure there's no 'romfs check' and we literally can't load 'wrong' games atm.

gotta note tho, loading cubic ninja would be grade-A useless considering it requires userland and loads userland (unless you're on 9.2, in which case nice job)

romfs is not the problem, it's just a library of files (images, sounds, models, collisions, some scripts, dialogues)

exefs file is the "core" of the game. But you can't inject any .code you want or else it will crash, because the exheaders are not the same
So piracy is pretty much impossible
