UPDATE 11-2-17

Modified the Save Fix (Personal thanks to @kaosushijin, @NeroSchiz for their absolute patience and devotion to solving this issue! And, of course @krofinzki for bringing it to my attention) to apply to 50Mb+ Games, as well. I can confirm Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time can now sram save with this amendment! If I find any more games, size wise, with save issues...I will do my best to adjust accordingly, to compensate for proper saves with them. Install either version of RetroArch dated 11-2-17 from this Update to have this fix applied! And, again, an important reminder, manual saves are not recommended for N64, as they are extremely unreliable. Stick to in-game Sram Saves, please:) Otherwise, Updated ViceX64 (Commodore 64), MAME 2003 (More Working Games, such as Title Fight, Puzz Loop 2, Gunbarich). And, finally, Updated Yabause (Sega Saturn).

Enjoy today's Update:)

Nobody is gonna answer you because here everyone is only interested in adding cores and more and more and more games. If you find a solution post it here anyway, please, because I'm interested.

I have it working now.

first I change the command line for the game that I want to make a preview for from:

-rollback-snapshot-period 600
to
-rollback-snapshot-period 6000

that way I have plenty of time for the savestate.

then resync the games.

Next Play games to get save state. I start game and do not touch any buttons allowing the built in demo to run.

once you make the save state of what ever games you want go back to hakchi>tools>Save-State Manager once opened export the save state to a working folder.

I personal have a thumb drive dedicated to just this so in the root of the thumb drive I have a folder I created and names Classic Demo. export my save states to this folder.

once you have exported your save states open the folder in which you exported them.

Using 7zip or WinRAR open the save-state. navigate to the rollback folder and extract.

open the extracted "rollback" folder you will find 0.inputs, 0.break, 1.input, 1.break,2.break,sram.hash.

Rename:
0.inputs to A.inputs
0.break to A.inputs.state
1.input to B.inputs
1.break to B.inputs.state

I delete 2.break and sram.hash. I delete 2.break because it does not have a 2.inputs to go with it.

once you have done this rename the "rollback" folder to "autoplay"

I personal use hakchi debug portable so I am not going to tell you where to find the root of hakchi.

but you will need to navigate to hakchi>games_snes>"the game folder"
move the now renamed folder "autoplay" into the game folder

Now go back to the games in hakchi and
Change the command line back

-rollback-snapshot-period 6000
to
-rollback-snapshot-period 600

now your done just go into hakchi and resync your games.

I will have a folder in my drive that I will be upload the demos I made. The folder will be public so you can add your own. I do request everyone be respectful and please don't erase everything.

Included will be the coverart I am using as well.

You can use your dualshock 4 on your SNESC?? How did you connect it physically? Do they sell usb adapters for the SNESC?

i use the retro reciever from 8Bitdo.
that is a BlueTooth Reciever where you can use the Ps4, Ps3, Wiimote, Wiiu Pro Gamepad or the 8bitdo gamepads.
http://www.8bitdo.com/retro-receiver-snes-sfc-classic/
It is put in one of the snes gamepad port.

it is for the mini nes and with firmware 1.07 the Mini snes is supportet.
But 1.07 has with the PS4 Gamepad it has a wrong mapping of the X, Y, A, B buttons.

i wrote to 8bitdo and they send it to the Technik team and today i become the 1.08 Beta Firmware where the mapping is correct

Are there any SNES games that use/conflict with the default reset via controller (i.e. DOWN+SELECT)?

FWIW, my setup is purely SNES games with Canoe and hakchi v2.21f

Hello,
see that _km_nxengine_8_5_17.hmod is 21 days old.

Never understand how to add Cave Story to my Snes Mini.
Best result is start game then crash into GUI after first seconds ...

Any hints or updated instructions ?

Thank you,
m.

Today's Core Update:) UPDATE 11-3-17 Modified the GBA/N64 Save State fix, for a third time. I calculated, roughly...Every 2.5 Mb of a game, in compressed form, seems to need an attribute of 1. So taking the largest N64 Game, at 62.4 Mb, translates to approximately 25. This directly applies to the decompression phase of any pertaining game in the GBA/N64 subsets, particularly to Manual & Sram Saves for GBA, and Sram Saves for N64 (Do not use Manual Saves for N64, as I have already warned!) This fix is not set in stone, yet. Just bear with me, as I test different adjustments til we are all happy! Otherwise, I updated MAME 2003 and Yabause (Sega Saturn). Yabause, by the way, had the incorrect date on it in yesterday's update. Today is the correct date and is also updated! It was brought to my attention that TGBDual was broken. I had to roll the Core back to make it compatible with both NESC/SNESC. It works great, now! I will do another update tomorrow! And, today's good news, Expandable Memory is no longer wishful thinking. MadMonkey has conferred with me on this being fact, and not fiction:) If all goes well, expect an official release in due time:) I can confirm expandable memory works, first-hand, as I tested it out successfully. So, there are great things to come! As a final note, the busybox bug that was addressed and patched in 2.21f, has been found to affect at least one of the Cores from fully functioning. So, if you are unable to properly run Atari 5200 with the Atari800 Core while on 2.21f, I would recommend rolling back to 2.21e, for now:) Enjoy today's Update!

Wow; this is exciting news!! Does it require any hardware modification (soldering?) or is it all done via software?

Anyone knows how does Extra Space hmod actually work? I installed it, saved some SNES games, then checked on Save State Manager, but those saves were still around 2 MBs.
