Much with having an official NES Classic + interface (rather than a Pi), the appeal for me is using an official controller, so this is my controller of choice.
Just uncheck the box to see what size the ROM file is.I think it would be great that if inside hakchi under the (game options) it said how big that "rom" was. It sure would help on deciding what one to delete especialy when you got a few of the same roms with different systems Just saying. Lol
I'm not gonna update my retroarch mod either. No, not the latest driver. Just the latest retroarch hmod. The change that was made regarding the driver was for better program compatibility across different OS (XP, Win7, etc.)--how it installs--not a change to the driver itself. I was concerned yesterday that we had to install new drivers, but this is not the case. Also, for what it's worth, I was running pcm's old hmod version 0.4 (which is the last version before he switched out the snes9x2010 core for the snes9x2005 core) and did NOT update that when I went to 2.14b...everything still works fine. @youngtune27
When this happened to me, I tried a different cable as this was the resolution, prior. Didn't make a difference. I actually restarted my laptop and once it was back up, I opened hakchi and it was working again! Not sure if this will help, but my experience it did. Good luckI successfully modded NESCEs on older Hakchi version and successfully migrated to 2.14b. Modded an NESCE successfully. Confirmed that it had worked. Went back and changed some game selections. Went to re-sync. When I click "OK" in the folder management screen, hakchi now doesn't continue past the "Connect your unit" window, and if I click "Install driver", it gives an error and says that a process is running on the NESCE.
I've tried uninstalling hakchi completely from the NESCE, reflashing the custom kernal & retroarch, then moving on to the game synch. It still now doesn't upload games. Even when I press the power button, wait for disconnect, then hold reset button and power up again, it still doesn't successfully pair, as though the NESCE is busy......
......any help would be very much appreciated!!!
Care to share link where to buy?
I can confirm it does! I recommend not using the default emulator. Set the command line to --retroarch. There are some minor graphical glitches with the default emulator. It runs OK with FCEumm. It did however crash once after a half hour of play. I figure it was just a fluke.Does anyone know if Tecmo Super Bowl 2017 works on the NESCE?
I just noticed the updated MAME2003 core is 7.39MB. Is this a better MAME2003 core than D Skywalker's MAME2003_mini? The difference
between the 2 cores is about 6MB (7.39MB vs 1.58MB). I'll probably just continue to use the _mini version but I was curious
if there was a significant difference.
