This seems not to help the issue of being able to get passed the create a name file and start the game. It's the same issue we were having with startropics 2, but there doesnt seem to be a proper patch for part 1. This patch also just makes the game go silent on nes classic.

"Some emulators, notably Nestopia, do not support modifications to the StarTropics ROM due to a conflation of the MMC3 and MMC6 mappers as iNES mapper 4. If the emulator has to use a CRC check to select MMC6, it may have problems running the patched ROM (e.g. audio will be silent, and name registration will fail)." from the site romhacking.com

So the problem with the RAM can be solved with folders, so we put games like A(folder) with 70 games and maybe B(folder) with 80 games, and C(folder) with another 70 games...
Exactly.

So in theory it would be possible to run any OTHER emulator executable ?
It's possible. Can someone port other emulator to NES Mini?

Astyanax

Baseball Stars

Journey to Silius

Kid Niki Radical Ninja

Klax (JAP)

Legendary Wings

Lode Runner

I remember that Clusterrr said that about ˜300MB are available.

Oh well. It was worth a try. Please post if you find a solution.

@nesito Sorry. I hadn't read it, too much pages. What a shame.

I take the opportunnity to say that I have the c8 error when I put more tha 75-80 games (including originals) so I have to erase some roms, from time to time, to enable play with the Nes Mini.

Others videos to check emulation of this games:

Mickey Mouse Mousecapade

R.C. Pro-Am

Ring King

Metalstorm

Rush'n Attack

I have started and played the game perfectly fine.

Tried several different roms for startropics 1 and no luck. Can't move past creating a new game save. Currently using the original 30 version which works fine, but maybe someone here can lead me in the right direction to finding that working rom.

Cluster, you are amazing for the work you've done on this and we all appreciate it greatly.

I use hakchi2 v2.10.
The NES game "Urusei Yatsura - Lum no Wedding Bell"(うる星やつら ラムのウェディングベル) is playable, although hakchi2 tells me it seems unplayable.
It's mapper is 86.
This is for reference.

Um, so which is it? Lol. Can't be both. Are you guys both using the patched version? If working, please post the rom file version name and hack.
