Hi spinel, long time no read

Maybe you have the wrong rom or a wrong crc32. for the right checksum look here:
https://gamehacking.org/system/nes/f/1

I had the same probs with my ips since I have the right crc32 my patches works well.

Ah and after add the patch you have to re-add the rom file.

I'm getting the crc32 from the rom file, Itested the rom and the patch in the nestopia emulator on windows also.

Cool.

Crap. I lost my original kernel.img... Can't ask for such things here :-(

Have a look back on pages 16/17/18 of the thread I believe some where posted back there...

Has anyone tried infidelity's super Mario all stars hack? Also is it confirmed that legend of link doesn't work correctly? Thanks

I tried Gun-Nac and the text is corrupted:

Also, in The Mysterious Murasame Castle, when it asks me to change to side B, I obtain a C7 error. I tried with all the command lines regarding FDS and I can't solve this.

This might be a really stupid question

but I see people have been posting patches for roms to help them run better

...how do you apply these patches to the roms?

Sorry, going through 80 pages to find an answer for a question that might not have been asked is kind of a lot to do

I would actually suggest reading through the 80 pages. It may only take you 20 mins, and you'll learn a great deal about the progress of this program, known errors, game compatibility info, etc. That said, google Floating IPS. It's a simple tool that applies the patches you download to a specified ROM file you also have downloaded. Very straight forward and easy to use.

Anyone know of an English translation to Akumajo Densetsu that uses the USA title screen Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse?

I've found a few with original created screens, would be cool to have the official US title with the better music and uncensored graphics.

What does it do? Make the graphics better or only run better?
